Gluten free doesn?t mean taste free? This recipe will have your kids singing Mom or Dad?s praises for the first time in years, especially if they are SUPER picky, like mine.
This is comfort food at its best! To make from scratch is a bit time consuming, but worth it. To shorten prep/cooking time, use a gluten-free pie crust mix or pre-made gluten-free crust. You can also buy pre-cooked/shredded chicken. Prep:45m

My favourite idea from Bette Hagman's books (and I got lots) was Rice a Roni. It was one of the things I missed the most when we went gluten free. This recipe, with her suggestion, is identical to the one I made with gluten. It's a great week night dinner, as it's fast, healthy and in one pot.
bay leaves, black pepper, butter, carrot, celery, chicken, chicken broth, pasta, rice, olive oil, onions, poultry seasoning, sea salt, spinach, zucchini
For anyone who misses the fun of Springfield, Mo Style Cashew Chicken. If you're gluten-free like me, use the following method to fry: Mix 1 part Rice flour, 1 part Tapioca starch, 1 part Cornstarch with whatever spices you like. Split this mixture in to two bowls. In a third bowl, beat 2 eggs and add between 1/4 and a 1/2 cup of milk, until it just forms an emulsion. Set up the bowls like so: Flour, Eggs, Flour. Now, take your cut up chicken bits, drop in the first flour bowl and coat lightly, but completely. Move to egg mixture, I let it soak for about 10 seconds. Last, drop in the last flour bowl and cover well. Drop in a hot pan with 1/4 inch or so of oil and cook for 3 minutes on each side, or until brown.
Perfect left-over turkey recipe. I use rice noodles to keep it gluten free but any wide noodle will do. Best soup I've ever made.
This is #2 of 3 gluten-free cream soups. As written, these recipes are free of Corn, Wheat, Gluten, Soy, Egg, Yeast and Nuts. NOTE FROM SOURCE: Recipe soups are those soups that one would normally find canned. If you have food allergies, the chances of finding a canned soup you can use in recipes is slim. Besides the usual allergens, you will generaly also find MSG in almost all canned soup, even many of the "health food store" type. MSG is not always listed in that way. MSG frequently hides in foods in the form of "hydrolyzed vegetable protein," "autolyzed yeast," "spices," "flavorings," and other non-specific ingredients. Here are some "semi-condensed" soups you can make from scratch and keep in the freezer for those times when you have a recipe that calls for a canned soup.
This is a clever idea - using potato flakes as an herb mixture instead of flour. I haven't tried this but can't wait. I intend to try this as part of chicken parmesan (with rice noodles of course!)
I love this chicken! It couldn't be any easier. It is so simple and yet so delicious. I always keep the ingredients for this recipe on hand, so that on a busy night I can just whip this chicken together and serve with minute rice.I made this chicken once during a commerical and made it back in time to the tv to not miss my show! Now that is my kind of dinner. Then when the next commerical came around I went into the kitchen and chopped up the tomatoes so that they would be ready to top the chicken with when it came out of the oven! Try this recipe, it will definetly be a new favourite of yours!
This is a breaded chicken that is made with oats instead of flour.
chicken, eggs, black pepper, oats, milk, onion powder, oregano, paprika, parmesan cheese, salt, thyme
I got this recipe from the back of a Cambells soup label and thought it sounded yummy.I tried it right away and it is a very yummy, delicious, and easy dinner. I also like to sprinkle alittle bit of parmesan cheese over top of pasta before serving. Enjoy!
