Gluten Free Orange Chocolate Chip Muffins Recipe

This is a recipe from pre-GF days that I recently converted. It tastes just as good as it did before. My in-laws visited and couldn't tell the difference. These are great for brunch. I make up several bags of the dry ingredients ahead of time to reduce prep time and reduce my likelihood of leaving out ingredients (I'm so not a morning person). For a change of pace, substitute dried cranberries and some chopped pecans for the chocolate chips. As with ALL gluten free cooking, ensure that the ingredients you use are gluten free. - Similiar recipes

Baked Apple With Cranberries

Baked Apple With Cranberries

I had this for breakfast this morning. My internet was off and I couldn't look up baked apples so I made this one up. I enjoyed it so I thought I would post it. I used brown sugar substitute, but you can used regular brown sugar. I kept it low in both sweet and butter but you can add more if you want. I baked it in a toaster oven at 350°F for 30 minutes. If you use sweetened cranberries, I would cut back on the sugar. Substitute margarine for butter and this is a vegetarian recipe. - Similiar recipes
Sugared Cranberries

Sugared Cranberries

Because of the contrast between the tart cranberries and sugary coating, the flavor of this snack pops in your mouth. The berries are steeped in hot sugar syrup to tame their tangy bite. When entertaining, serve these in place of nuts. For gift-giving, package in parchment-lined tins. Present with a small bottle of the reserved cranberry cooking syrup for the recipient to use as a cocktail mixer. If you can't find superfine sugar, make your own by processing granulated sugar in a food processor for a minute - Similiar recipes

Baked Brandied Cranberries

Almost 25 years ago, my neighbor gave me this recipe. The brandy helps to cut down on the tartness of the cranberries, while the sugar gives it just enough sweetness. It's great to serve during the holidays. - Similiar recipes
