Denise's Chili

I got this recipe from a co-worker. She told me that it's been a family recipe since the early 1950's. We gave it a try for dinner tonight and I must say that it was totally awesome! Although, I would have added some carrots and bell peppers but that's just me. Of course you can add extra veggies if you like. It's very easy, especially if you use can beans, and frozen diced onions.I used what she recommended which is the chili brick by XLNT, it is in most grocery stores. Check for it in the refridgerator isle of hot dogs, and breakfast links. It's typically a white package with red and black writing. Warning this recipe makes a TON of chili!!!!!She forgot to tell me to add one can of tomato paste to thicken up the chili if you like it thick. (I would start with the smallest can possible of the paste) - Similiar recipes

Easy Baked Layered Chili Cheese Dip

The complete dip can be prepared and refrigerated until ready to bake. The jalapeno is only optional, I like to add it into the cream cheese. The success of this dip will depend on the quality of chili you use so make certain to use a good-quality canned chili or use homemade, for extra heat use extra spricy chili. - Similiar recipes

Easy Chili Nachos

Easy Chili Nachos

This makes a wonderful quick late-night snack, and it's a great way to use up any leftover chili I freeze some of my chili just to make this recipe --- I sprinkle finely chopped jalapeno peppers on top of second layer of cheese, but that is only optional add them on if you like heat --- all ingredients can be adjusted to suit taste. Prepare a double recipe in two separate pie plates if you are serving more than 6 people. Prep time does not include making the chili --- this is very good! - Similiar recipes

Easy Texas Chili

Easy Texas Chili

"This is a simple recipe for Texas chili I learned from my mother. I like my chili with a little fire to it but you can adjust this recipe to your liking. This is a chili that only gets better the second day so don't worry about using a large pot and having more than your family can eat the first night because you can have it a couple of nights later. ENJOY. I know I do every time I make this chili." - Similiar recipes
